🧩 Overview

Norsk Butikk Evo Gran Canaria is a Scandinavian supermarket and coffee shop located in Arguineguín, Gran Canaria, offering a wide range of Nordic food products and café services.
The goal of the project was to build a complete e-commerce platform that allows the store to sell products online across Gran Canaria and strengthen its digital presence through social media marketing and Facebook Ads.

💼 My Role & Scope of Work

I was responsible for the entire digital setup of the business — from domain and hosting to website creation and digital marketing:

  • Set up hosting, domain, and business email.

  • Designed the e-commerce website using WooCommerce, Elementor, and Astra Pro.

  • Created the UX/UI design, branding, and logo from scratch.

  • Configured all WooCommerce settings, including product categories, subcategories, brand filters, tags, pricing, shipping methods, and Stripe payment integration.

  • Implemented basic SEO using Yoast SEO, created a sitemap, and connected the website to Google Search Console (GSC) and Google Analytics 4 (GA4).

  • Managed social media content creation using Canva, ChatGPT, and Gemini, and scheduled posts via Meta Business Suite.

  • Planned and executed Facebook Ads campaigns to increase visibility and page followers.

📊 Results / Achievements

  • +573% increase in Facebook visits and +138 new followers within one month (September 2025).

  • Website achieved 115 clicks on Google Search Console in September alone.

  • Significant growth in brand awareness and local engagement, with customers increasingly discovering the store online.

  • Improved trust and visibility among Scandinavian residents and tourists in Gran Canaria.
